Wanted to let you know that the step 6 link under the step 5 log isn't working. You can still get to step 6 through the drop down at least.

So some friends of mine have been running an RP on GameFAQs.com it has become stagnant due to some disagreements between founders. We think that a new venue will bring new life and pull people in from the net, not just GameFAQs. Any particular site platform I should begin with? I'm not exactly a professional site builder. Any tips would be great. I wouldn't mind starting a conversation through Email.

Hi Christine!

I'm glad you found this site again! And I know what you mean about getting exciting and getting all sorts of ideas to roleplay out with, but not wanting to actually create and manage a roleplay site. I've actually been finding ways to roleplay my ideas out without all the hassle of managing a site and the drama of dealing with people by playing my ideas in the Sims 3. So, just to toss it out there, maybe you could turn your idea into a story and play it out using games like the Sims or Minecraft and share it with people. This way you don't have to worry about other people taking your story in a direction you don't want; you'd have absolute freedom to do as you please. Again, this is just a thought I wanted to throw out there because I would love to see more females get into story telling and showing more female protagonist being empowered; to show us building up our own worlds and characters and sharing our creative stories with others and even inspiring other females to do the same. ^_^

So I'm not interested in currently making an RP site but I always have all these idea's in my head so I figured why not just throw these ideas into google drive, make something out of them ,and save them for maybe when I could one day make an RP site. I had found this website before when i first started roleplaying some years ago and lost it, but of course I recently found it. Thank you for making this site, as it has helped me then and I'm sure it'll help me again this time.

Thank you! And you're welcome.
I think you just gave me an idea. I think I might create a section for folks to advertise there site and maybe request a link back. We'll see how that goes.

This is really impressive! You've obviously put a lot of work into coming up with this guide, and keeping it up to date and accurate.

While I've never been one much for anything more than one-on-one RP aside from a few half-hearted attempts at larger scale projects, I've added a link to this guide to my RP 101 site ( http://elementaryrp.weebly.com/ ) because it's so well done. And someone who visits might be looking for just this sort of help, which I don't even address atm. I might have to add a small section somewhere to change that, so people know that creating your own RP site is a viable option.

Thank you for spending time and effort putting this together.
